Also noteworthy are Beco das Cores and Praça Caminho do Mar, with several bars, restaurants and live music. (see schedule)

Capoeira with Mestre Raílson

Railson brought capoeira to Arraial, learning and teaching in improvised places, sheds, backyards, on the beach. Thus, in Arraial d'Ajuda, the pillar of what today comprises the current Capoeira Sul da Bahia Cultural Space was born.

Grupo Capoeira Sul da Bahia is headquartered in Arraial d'Ajuda, Porto Seguro, BA, and  branches spread throughout Brazil and abroad. Both at the headquarters and in the branches, Mestre Raílson, together with the teachers and instructors from each location, annually hold their baptisms and courses, bringing together teachers, teachers and instructors for the great celebration of the baptism and the exchange of twine.

The boats are monitored and the show is fascinating!

Our Lady of Ajuda Parish Church

Beginning in 1549 and completed in 1551, this Church was founded by the Jesuits, and is a heritage of our country.  The view from the viewpoint, just behind the church,  it's really  incredible! Broduei Street or Broadway
Famous in the past, Broduei is a nice little street that connects Praça São Brás to Nossa Senhora d'Ajuda Church. Considered by many as the first entertainment center in Arraial, it has shops, bars and restaurants, where you can find people from all over the world looking for a souvenir, a good photo, or a drink to relax.

For all this, it has been known as the "corner of the world". Maybe it's not exactly a corner, but the world is sometimes there, we can guarantee it!

Our Lady of Help Fountain

Apparently the lack of water, when mixed with the abundance of imagination, can yield good stories. Legend has it that the community of Arraial, at other times, made prayers and promises to Nossa Senhora d'Ajuda asking for water, which was scarce in those difficult times. And behold, suddenly, as if by a miracle, crystalline water began to flow from the very altar of the Church! Slipping down the hill behind her, she makes her way to the fountain.  Nossa Senhora d'Ajuda, attracting many curious people and serving the population. The community, of course, says that water is blessed and that it cures diseases! Well, better than explaining is to stop by to feel the energy and freshen up a little.

São Brás Square, also called Praça da Feira  Hippie, is the ideal place to buy handicrafts. In the space between the  I produced  and at Praça da Igreja, it is common to have lambada presentations in periods of greater flow of visitors, in addition to capoeira groups.

The curious note is that there is also an old cemetery, now deactivated, and, right next to it, typical drinks tents of the region, so that tourists can try Bahian flavors such as "capeta" and "nevada".

Historic Square of the Green Valley

Vale Verde is a rural village located on the banks of the Buranhém River, between Arraial d'Ajuda and Trancoso. Its history, of course, is also related to the Portuguese colonization process, and the coming of the Jesuits to Brazil. It was in this place that, during the second half of the 16th century, the Jesuit Mission was founded.  Village of Espírito Santo dos Índios, or  Patatiba Village. Today, in the center of the village, it is still possible to appreciate the simple beauty of the little church and its Quadrado, surrounded by colorful colonial-inspired houses.

There is also a space inside the EcoParque with an exhibition of coral species.

Alley of Colors

Entering through Rua Mucugê, it is  a very charming place, a place that guarantees a fun day or night, whether alone, as a couple or as a family.  It really is as the name says, Beco das Cores.

It is an extension of the various restaurants and shops on the charming Rua Mucugê. Highlight for the pizzeria right at the entrance, with its apparent wood oven that induces visually, in addition to the place that is cozy. The pizza is excellent, thin and crispy crust.
